Types of Lessons

Piano

We teach the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB), syllabus including:

• • Piano – students learn a selection of pieces by the greatest composers from Baroque to the 20th century and contemporary music from the AMEB syllabus, Preliminary to Grade 8 and post-graduate levels
  • Piano for Leisure – Students choose from classical, modern and jazz and film scores from the AMEB syllabus
  • Musicianship and Theory

Our teachers can also go through modern music, including songs from contemporary musicians such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, and more!

Vocals

• • Our teachers use a classical and contemporary approach to singing, encompassing all vocal styles to attain healthy and competent singing at all ages.We believe vocal technique is fundamental, particularly in young voices to achieve singing with ease.

Guitar

Most of our teachers teach contemporary guitar, with a focus on:

  • Finger picking
  • Tab-reading
  • Music theory
  • Repertoire
