About Our Teachers

Our teachers have been selected for their musical qualifications from Universities from around the world. Many are also very experienced performers in all styles: classical, jazz and contemporary. Here are a few of our teachers.

An Pham (Piano & Singing)

An Pham is an Australian singer & artist, currently working as a piano & vocal teacher for Eastern Suburbs Piano Tuition (ESPT). An is a popular teacher who has many students, both piano & singing.

 

An discovered her passion for music and prepared for various AMEB piano examinations before studying at the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) from 2014 – 2016. Here, she was able to fully develop her musical tools and understanding.

 

In addition to being a pianist, An is also an accomplished singer. In 2017, she flew to Los Angeles to show off her singing talent in front of companies such as IndaSoul Entertainment, DreamScope Entertainment and MGMT Artists. As a result, she signed with IndaSoul, a music production label based in Valencia, Santa Clarita. An was also recognised with an award for 1st place in the ‘Female Singers’ division from Prestige Talent during this time.

 

Working with IndaSoul throughout 2018, An created her debut single ‘This Is Me’, which peaked at #5 on the ReverbNation Pop charts in 2019. She also released another single in 2019 entitled ‘Monster’.

John Browne (Guitar & Piano)

John is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and furthermore a highly qualified musician with over twenty years’ experience in the music industry.

A graduate of the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) Bachelor’s degree in music with majors in guitar and piano.

In addition to guitar and piano, he also teaches other instruments including: bass, ukulele and vocals. John teaches all ages and is an enthusiastic, experienced and knowledgeable teacher on all aspects of music including performance, composition, recording and arrangement.

His goal as a teacher is a commitment to bring energy, enthusiasm and guidance to every lesson. John seeks to instil a belief, that with practice, effort, dedication, and passion, students can master their instrument or instruments of choice. He believes that music helps people to share, express and connect to theirs and other’s emotions and feelings whatever their background and heritage. Thus in a way that few other mediums can and this is the greatest gift we call music.

John is currently active and performing in the music scene in and around Sydney.

Sam Green (Piano, Guitar & Singing)

Sam Green is a passionate and experienced music teacher currently in his second year at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where he is an exemplary student. With a strong foundation in classical, musical theatre, and contemporary styles, he brings both technical expertise and real-world performance experience to his teaching.

 

Sam has been teaching since 2019, working with students aged 5 to 19. His experience includes private tuition, group sessions, and teaching disadvantaged students, including those under the NDIS scheme. He tailors his approach to each student’s needs, fostering both technical skills and confidence in music.

 

A versatile musician, Sam plays and teaches both piano and guitar across a range of styles. He is currently completing his Grade 8 certificate in classical piano and holds further qualifications in music theory, voice, and modern piano. Alongside teaching, he regularly performs as a solo artist under his name and as a pianist and guitarist in the Lily B Band.

Lily Begbie (Piano & Singing)

Lily is a warm and enthusiastic piano and vocal teacher who loves helping beginner students discover the joy of music. With over three years of teaching experience and a decade in the music scene, she creates lessons that are fun, supportive, and tailored to each student’s pace. Lily is currently studying Contemporary Music Practice at the Sydney Conservatorium and actively performs and releases music under the name LILY B. Her songs have been featured on major Spotify playlists (Local Noise, Fresh Finds AU & NZ), and her music video recently aired on ABC’s Rage. Whether it’s learning your first chords or singing your favourite songs, Lily’s goal is to build confidence and creativity in every student.

Yvonne Williams (Piano)

Yvonne is an extremely accomplished piano teacher having completed her associate of Music performance in Piano ( AmusA). She has completed her grade 8 musicianship (theory) and has also performed in and accompanied many musical society presentations and productions.

 

Yvonne has been teaching all ages for many years and specialises in preparing students for exams and in all levels and styles. We are proud to have her as vibrant member of our team.

Rosemarie Eilert (Classical, Jazz & Contemporary Piano)

Rosemarie teaches a wide range of piano styles to students from 4 to 70 years of age. Rosemary trained at Trinity ATCL, LTCL in jazz and classical piano. She is a qualified secondary school music teacher and has worked as a music teacher in a number of international schools. She is a performer across all styles including rock, jazz and classical. She has had gigs in the Middle East, India, Indonesia and Europe with various artists. Her diverse experience as a teacher and performer enables her students to pursue their musical interests with enthusiasm and confidence.

Anton Koritni (Classical and Contemporary - Piano)

Anton Koritni has pursued a performance career in both piano and singing which has taken him to over 20 countries around the world. He has worked in many genres including classical, musical theatre and hard Rock. He has shared the stage with a wide range of musical acts including the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australian rock band INXS and many more in between. He is currently producing original contemporary classical music and regularly performing around Australia.
