About Our Teachers

Our teachers have been selected for their musical qualifications from Universities from around the world. Many are also very experienced performers in all styles: classical, jazz and contemporary. Here are a few of our teachers.

Anton Koritni (Classical and Contemporary - Piano)

Anton Koritni has pursued a performance career in both piano and singing which has taken him to over 20 countries around the world. He has worked in many genres including classical, musical theatre and hard Rock. He has shared the stage with a wide range of musical acts including the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australian rock band INXS and many more in between. He is currently producing original contemporary classical music and regularly performing around Australia.

Rosemary Eilert (Classical, Jazz & Contemporary Piano)

Rosemary teaches a wide range of piano styles to students from 4 to 70 years of age. Rosemary trained at Trinity ATCL, LTCL in jazz and classical piano. She is a qualified secondary school music teacher and has worked as a music teacher in a number of international schools. She is a performer across all styles including rock, jazz and classical. She has had gigs in the Middle East, India, Indonesia and Europe with various artists. Her diverse experience as a teacher and performer enables her students to pursue their musical interests with enthusiasm and confidence.

An Pham (Singing and Piano)

An Pham is an Australian artist, singer and piano and singing teacher with Eastern Suburbs Piano Tuition (ESPT). An is a popular teacher and has many students both piano and singing with ESPT. An discovered her passion for music and prepared for various AMEB piano examinations before studying at the Australian Institute of Music from 2014 – 2016 to fully develop her musical tools and understanding.

In addition to being a pianist, An is an accomplished singer also. In 2017, An auditioned for Prestige Talent, an agency seeking new talent for various entertainment labels and companies in Los Angeles. After passing this audition, she flew to LA to show off her singing talent in front of companies such as IndaSoul Entertainment, DreamScope Entertainment and MGMT Artists. As a result, she signed with IndaSoul, a music production label based in Valencia, Santa Clarita. An was also recognised with an award for 1st place in the ‘Female Singers’ division from Prestige Talent during this time.Working with IndaSoul throughout 2018, An created her debut single ‘This Is Me’, which peaked at #5 on the ReverbNation Pop charts in 2019. She also released another single in 2019 entitled ‘Monster’.

Since 2020, An has been working as a singing and piano teacher at Eastern Suburbs Piano Tuition based in Bondi Junction, Sydney. She’s also keeping active by continuing to pursue her AMEB piano grades and posting YouTube covers. She is passionate about inspiring and helping others with the one thing that she loves, the one thing that everyone can relate to.

Hester Fraser (Singing and Piano)

Where words fail, music speaks – a mantra, which is encapsulated in the work of GOLDHEIST (aka Hester Fraser), charming audiences as a finalist for two years running in the Toyota Busking Championships at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, and Winner of the prestigious People’s Choice Award in 2016. Hester’s songs tell stories of love, life and adventure, painting vibrant pictures of the Australian bush, current affairs and events, not to mention a few broken hearts.

Hester toured NSW in 2014, with her debut release Dust, raising funds and awareness for drought in rural areas. This lead to further drought relief performances through Centacare New England North West, followed by appearances at the Quirindi Music Festival, RAW Visionary Melbourne, and a mini-tour to Byron Bay and Murwillumbah.  In 2021, two GOLDHEIST songs were included in the soundtrack for independent feature film Beijing Being, which was selected for the 39th Montreal World Film Festival and the NYC Independent Film Festival.

Nick Fowler (Classical Jazz, Contemporary & Blues Piano)

Nick Fowler has taught Jazz and Blues Piano at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music since 2000. He has also developed a strong classical repertoire as well teaching courses at the Conservatorium in Advanced Pop Piano, Intermediate Classical Piano, Music Theory, and Jazz Fusion. Nick has gained a reputation as a distinguished modern jazz composer and has recorded and performed extensively with his group ‘The GappProject’.

Yvonne Williams (Piano)

Yvonne is an extremely accomplished piano teacher having completed her associate of Music performance in Piano ( AmusA). She has completed her grade 8 musicianship (theory) and has also performed in and accompanied many musical society presentations and productions.

 

Yvonne has been teaching all ages for many years and specialises in preparing students for exams and in all levels and styles. We are proud to have her as vibrant member of our team.

John Browne (Guitar & Piano)

John is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and furthermore a highly qualified musician with over twenty years’ experience in the music industry.

A graduate of the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) Bachelor’s degree in music with majors in guitar and piano.

In addition to guitar and piano, he also teaches other instruments including: bass, ukulele and vocals.

John teaches all ages and is an enthusiastic, experienced and knowledgeable teacher on all aspects of music including performance, composition, recording and arrangement.

John is currently active and performing in the music scene in and around Sydney.

His goal as a teacher is a commitment to bring energy, enthusiasm and guidance to every lesson.

John seeks to instil a belief, that with practice, effort, dedication, and passion, students can master their instrument or instruments of choice.

He believes that music helps people to share, express and connect to theirs and other’s emotions and feelings whatever their background and heritage. Thus in a way that few other mediums can and this is the greatest gift we call music.
